About Me
I’m a writer and editor hailing from Tennessee, now based in Chicago. On a full-time basis, I write for Campbell & Company, a fundraising/marketing consulting firm for nonprofit organizations.
On the freelance grind, my writing has appeared on Pitchfork, Prefix Magazine, KCRW, and in the International Journal of Arts Management, among other publications.
My highlight reel would showcase many moments from my work as a senior writer at a communications agency, an associate producer for a WYCC-Channel 20 television show, an event coordinator at the Center for Southern Folklore, and when I worked as a baker and decorated all y’all’s cakes to Toto’s “Africa” at 4am.
