Franke Tobey Jones is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community in Tacoma, Washington: a fixture in the community since 1924, and an institution with real insight into elder care; specifically, the power of community as a safeguard against infirmity, and the importance of being able to maintain your dignity at every age and every stage of health.
At the outset of an exciting new campaign to kick off a multi-phase plan to expand their facilities to meet the growing demand for their services, I came in to capture and articulate the foundational messaging for this campaign and this moment for Franke Tobey Jones—then expand it into a cohesive narrative through fundraising collateral. Specifically, I developed a PowerPoint and a brochure that captured the history of the organization, the landscape of elder care in the United States, and the stories of the people who call Franke Tobey Jones home.
