I took an Associate Consultant position at Campbell & Company seeking an opportunity to do robust, substantive creative work for the nonprofit sector, and it #blessed me a million times over. Over two promotions and six years, I have partnered with some of the nation's most prominent nonprofits to develop their visions, engage their donors and members, and tell their stories more effectively. Through campaign branding, case development, writing and creative directing collateral, developing communications strategy, and training staff and Board members, I help organizations build consensus around the story they told about themselves and empower staff and volunteer leaders to tell their story.

August Jackson helped me spread my wings as a creative director and writer within the world of Fortune 500s. I handled creative concepting and execution for live events (including national sales meetings with thousands of attendees). I developed the strategy to guide communications campaigns and the collateral and events that bring them to life. I collaborated with art directors and managed a team of freelance writers. I drove the creative for an internal social network used by thousands of employees and did an insane amount of writing: video scripts, executive speeches, web copy, presentations. And I loved it.
